Bible Classes:

1st - 6th Grade:

Individual classes are designed to help parents and grandparents teach their children about God and His love. The scriptures teach that parents are responsible for teaching their children about God therefore spiritual training begins at home (Deuteronomy 6:4-8). To help parents, our classes use sound biblical curriculum that is designed to help children learn in an interactive way.

Junior and Senior High:

Individual classes focus on the relevance of God's word in real life situations. By looking at both Old and New Testament passages, teenagers are challenged and encouraged to experience a relationship with God, growing closer to Him regardless of where they are.

Adults:

Separate classes for young and senior adults allows for more focused discussions about how the Scriptures speak to concerns specific to the various age groups. Lessons for young adults are focused on the importance of an active and vibrant faith expressed through love, knowledge, good works, and fellowship. This class is designed to help college students, young married couples, and adults in their 30's and 40's with a family.

There is also a senior adult class to help them continually grow in their knowledge and desire for God as they set the example and train those who are following in their footsteps.

Ministries:

Men's Bible Study:

A group of men meet every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. in various member's homes to fellowship and study God's word.  The study is currently a verse-by-verse study through the book of Acts. This study study strives to learn and understand what God wants us to know about the beginning and growth of the early church, and how we can apply that knowledge to our service today. The time together also allows the men to grow closer together, share struggles, and encourage each other.

Ladies' Bible Class:

The Ladies Bible Class meets on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. at various member's homes, and Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the church building. These studies focus on discovering God's purpose for women in every facet of life.

Prison Ministry:

Various members travel to local prisons to teach and encourage inmates to lean on the Lord and follow His direction regardless of their situation. This ministry also offers correspondence courses to the inmates so that they can have sound guidance through the Scriptures in the hope that they can grow in their knowledge and love for God.

Youth Ministry:

This ministry's primary focus is on creating a positive, Christ-like environment for children in the 7th grade to 12th grade. From attending youth rallies and church camp, to doing service projects throughout the city of Vicksburg, this ministry is designed to teach young people what it means to be a true follower of Jesus and to encourage them to stand firm in Him regardless of what difficult circumstances they face in the world.

Ladies Heartfelt Ministries Group:

Ladies Heartfelt Ministries groups meet monthly in various ladies homes.  Heartfelt is a ministry based upon Titus 2:3-5.  Older/mature women (Heart Moms) mentor from their mature experiences in life and in the Lord!  The younger in age/faith women (Heart Sisters) learn from, grow with, and build relationships with the Heart Moms during fellowship that includes dinner served by the Moms.  After dinner and loads of conversation, Heart Moms lead a study of God's Word, prayer, and Christ-centered experiences.  It is a shared experience investing in each other’s lives and in the Lord.

House to House, Heart to Heart:

The House to House, Heart to Heart brotherhood newsletter is distributed locally for community outreach.
